We went for a short excursion to Dahanu, Bordi & Jawhar from Pune. The route from Dahanu to Bordi is about 15 kms & is good & sceninc. You can go to Bordi two different ways. Bordi beach is a black sand beach & very sticky too. The sea is only one to two feet deep until almost half km out. Sunset was a good experience from the beach.

NB: This review appears to be standard tourist information.
The Akshi beach is a beautiful white sand beach. Plenty of suru trees can be seen along the coast. The water is very clean & it is very safe for swimming. The beach is also a favourite among the birdwatchers & nature lovers.

The village is full of fishermen & it is not crowded at all. The beach at Akshi is a favourite tourist spot. One could lounge around the clear beaches & step into the warm & unruffled Arabian sea.

Diu in India is a picturesque & idyllic place to laze around the clean beach & even the town is clean. Far from the hustle & bustle of the mainland where the main holiday package operators ship people to. There are three beaches, all of them clean & not at all crowded. Nagoa beach is the most attractive. Its cresent shaped & has water sports activities.

Stayed in the Residency Fort for 2 nights in April. This hotel is excellent value for money in a very central location in Mumbai. The room, though not huge, was clean and adequate, the only problem was the a/c, noisy and could not be turned down, however with the humidity at the time this was not really a major drawback!
The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. Yhe breakfast was adequate.
The hotel location is a major plus, near the VT Station , Flora fountain and a short walk to the Taj and Gateway to India.Lots of street markets near by and an endless supply of taxis to take you anywhere you wanted to go.
Mumbai is a fascinating city and The Residency Fort is an excellent choice for exploring it. Will definitely return

Kuta Beach, Bali

Denpasar is the capital city of Bali. The island is a stunning tropical paradise with spectacular temples, impressive Balinese architecture and breathtaking views. However in contrast, Denpasar is also a thriving metropolis with international banks, modern buildings and a definite cosmopolitan atmosphere. This popular tourist destination offers visitors a truly rich cultural experience.

Flights to Denpasar

The Denpasar Bali International Airport, also known as Ngurah Rai Airport, is located in southern Bali 13kms south of Denpasar and just a stone’s throw from Kuta beach.
