Upon arrival at the Dilhan hotel (at about 4am) Ramazan greeted us & helped with our luggage. Our rooms were sorted out in no time & within the hour we were in a 24hr kebab shop! :-) All shops, restaurants, bars can be seen from the hotel balconies, but the good thing is, this hotel is off the main road, so you get a good night’s sleep!

Last stayed in the Pinewood apartments 6 years ago & found the apartment excellent at that time. My husband & I returned to the Pinewood in 2009 expecting the same standards, but we were greatly dissappointed.

The Aqua hotel in Icmeler is in a suberb location. It’s difficult to say anything negative about the hotel. The staff are very polite & welcoming, rooms are always cleaned to an high standard every day.

The Hotel Efendi in Icmeler is a 3 storey hotel without a lift & a small 24hour reception area. The safety deposit boxes are £10 per week & if you have a night flight return home & need to keep your room on it will cost £16 but is well worth it.

We were allocated an attic room at the Selen apartments, having specifically requested to *not* have an attic room. When we got there, the room was not ready - light bulbs out, no bedding for our son’s bed and the air conditioning was faulty.

We stayed at the Elif Hotel on bed & breakfast. We love Icmeler and have been 3 times before this, but is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms where OK, but are not cleaned properly.

The Golmar Beach Hotel in Icmeler is an excellent, clean & friendly hotel in a brilliant location, quiet at night yet near enough to restaurants & entertainment.

We stayed self catering at Palm Garden in Icmeler but the food was excellent value for money, portions sometimes small but tasted excellent - so good we ate there most nights. If you prefer to eat in the apartments, you had all the utencils needed to have a good meal.

We have just got back from Icmeler & stayed at the Miramonte apartments. I have to admit that after we booked the hotel & paid for it I checked out the reveiws & was freaking out seeing so many negative comments! My husband said if it was really that bad when we got there we will book into a different hotel.

I arrived in Icmeler on the 22nd June 2009. We were greeted by my parents who had already been there a week & once we checked in at the Ekinci Palace apartments we were greeted by Gerrard, who took our luggage to our rooms (he was also a waiter at the Bahama bar by the pool).
