Sandals – Montego Bay – Jamaica

We have stayed at two previous Sandal Hotels before and we were doisappointed that the pool at the one in Montego Bay, Jamaica was closed due to a leak when we were there.

However, as our room opened up on to the beach, a lack of pool wasn’t an issue although it meant the beach was busier than it normally would have been.

The staff at this Sandals were brilliant, especially the dive team, and the entertainment was good although we found it a bit repetitive after the first week, although we didn’t need to be entertained much and we enjoyed watching the volleyball game that took place every day.

The food was good but a few people didn’t understand the concept of waiting to be shown to a table before going to help yourself to the buffet. Also, one of the restaurants was having to share space with the buffet room, but the food was still excellent. I wasn’t too keen on the bare resturant or the Italian one as, have eaten better elsewhere.

Overall a great holiday and very chilled out as you would expect in Sandals, and especially in Jamaica!!
