Salhan Apartments – Ovacik – Turkey

The Salhan Apartments are very old & this needs to be kept in mind. The Turkish standards differ greatly from ours & that has to be respected. It is run down & lacks attention to detail. With a small amount of money it could be 5 star. You get what you pay for!

The apartments are very basic but ours was kept spotlessly clean by very friendly ladies. The staff were very helpful when they could be, and yes, there is a language problem, but then again I am in their country & expect that! The location is second to none! We like to experience as much of the culture as possible. Close enough to whatever you want but far enough away to stay away if that is what you prefer.

We are older, more seasoned travelers & used to comfort, but we booked this holiday package with our daughter & grandson of 7 & they cannot wait to return! We will be booking again shortly I hope!
