Golmar Beach Hotel – Icmeler – Turkey

The Golmar Beach Hotel in Icmeler is an excellent, clean & friendly hotel in a brilliant location, quiet at night yet near enough to restaurants & entertainment.

Sheets & towels are changed daily. We stayed on the first floor – this was more modern & updated than rooms higher up. Slides & pool area are well maintained & staff regularly asked if you needed anything like drinks, ice cream, food, etc. There are steps around hotel areas but plenty of staff on hand to help lift a buggy. Travelled with my 8yr old & one 15 year old. They made plenty of friends including the ice cream boy.

The views over the bay are beautiful. Barter in the shops to get the best bargains – they love the challenge. Market day is Wednesday – worth a visit but go early as it is very hot. We went to the water park in Marmaris – my 8 year old loved it. We went there on their yellow bus which runs every 5 minutes – very reliable & cheap way of transport.

All in all a brilliant holiday in Turkey for the whole family & can’t wait to return.
