Elif Hotel – Icmeler – Turkey

We stayed at the Elif Hotel on bed & breakfast. We love Icmeler and have been 3 times before this, but is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms where OK, but are not cleaned properly.

The light was broken & hanging off the wall, the bathroom floor had a hole in it, the showers were horrid and the shower curtian was hanging down & dirty. The breakfast was set out at 8am & left in full sun till 10am and nothing got cleaned away after breakfast. The sunbeds where broken & dirty, the children’s pool had weeds growing out of the side sun and the beds were not moved in two weeks to be cleaned under.

Broken glass was picked up but not swept and the cleaning of the pool was done once with an ashtray of salt then brushed with a dirty brush - that was the cleaning done! We had a great holiday, but ate out every night & most mornings. It was great having sunbeds on the beach & most of the staff where OK & helpfull, but we would never stay here again. I wish I could post pictures on here – a diabolical hotel.
