Well, I don’t know where to start. After a lovely flight with Qatar airlines we arrived at The Club Palm Bay in Sri Lanka, both very tired, so didn’t pay to much attention to the journey to hotel. I was a bit taken aback when we got to reception and found it quite depressing & dark, but we were given a lovely greeting & a much appreciated, refreshing cocktail.

We went to Sri Lanka for the first time & it’s wonderful. We stayed in hotel Serendib in Bentota. When we arrived at this hotel the welcome we had was great. The entrance to the hotel was lovely with an open air reception & a big pond with koi carp & other fish swimming around.
