Holiday Tags: Costa Brava

This hotel is a great little hotel. A few feet from the beach & bars near to everything, but it does not feel too busy.

We had half board which in other hotels we have stayed in can be hit & miss, we thought on the whole the food was good we did not need to eat out in the evening at all & the breakfast has something for everyone, a cooked breakfast or cereal & toast & many other choices.

The hotel was clean & all loos are really clean. That’s one of my pet hates dirty loos & this hotel provides good clean loos. The bar & outside areas are spotless & so is the pool area. The bar staff are all great Tomas & Miguell & all the other staff are all great. …

Stayed at the Monteplaya in early August for a week. Rooms spotless and tasteful decor & comfortable mattress, nice pool view, & food was excellent.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for food by far. Fussy 17 year old but he even found something to eat each meal! Location excellent as well, close to everything you could want. Entertainment was good.

Was a good price for a package holiday and we are definitely returning next year, already booked it in fact.

Am just back from an enjoyable week with full board at the Pi-Mar in Blanes. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist & given a sea-view double room. The room & it’s en-suite were compact but adequate with all the essentials and clean, tidy & with tasteful decor. The bath was small but was OK to use & the shower above was powerfull. …

Thought I had to post a review on the Tossa Beach hotel after reading so many bad ones. We got a last minute all-inclusive cheapy & we were really not expecting a lot but we really enjoyed it. The food was great, a little repetative, that’s all. The hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned every day & fresh towels. Entertainment wasn’t great, but then we were there in October. My kids thought it was fantastic & want to return again. I would say the only down side was the size of the pool but you are so near the beach it doesn’t really matter!

Arrived at the Calella Palace hotel around 20 to midnight after trying to find somewhere to park my hire car, to be met by a big group of German students outside hotel. Was told by friendly Asian receptionist that if we would like a snack there was one still available up untill midnight. …
