Sindy Apartments – Marmaris – Turkey

Arrived at the Sindy apartments & was put in room 19, which is in the second building next to the one with the bar. Paid for the air-con, £25 for the week (this is usual in Turkey).

The room was very tidy although there was a slight smell in one of the rooms. The kitchen has a fridge which stays on when the electric key is removed. The sofa bed had seen better days as it was falling apart but was usable. You get a free toilet roll on the 1st night but you have to pay for it after that. We had a kettle & a two-ring electric hob in our room. Had no problems bringing food back to the apartment but you can’t take your own food/drink around the pool. The pool is fantastic & the drink prices are reasonable. We paid 4 lira for a bottle of Efes.

The staff were very plesant. They had just started booking entertainment acts in the evening such as belly dancers, break dancers & karioke when we arrived. They also lowered the price for English breakfast from seven to 5 lira as some guests were going next door. We had our breakfast in the room & the waiter brought it up to the room which was nice. Overall our stay was really good & would stay here again.
