Having stayed at this hotel before we knew what to expect, it is in nice settings & is very clean with clean linens every day. The staff are lovely very polite & helpful.

The pool is not the largest I have seen but considering the beach is only 5-7 min away it is quite adequate with plenty of sunbeds with clean towels supplied.

The breakfasts were very good with plenty of selection of both European & Indian food. We did not try any other food from the hotel & have no idea how extensive the menu is as there were never any available to check.

The two minus points here which can make or break your holiday, are that the beds in the old part of the hotel are very hard & even when we asked for a 2nd mattress it made very little difference & they were very uncomfortable.

The other down side is the bar which is situated in the entrance to the hotel & is very rarely used because of both it’s situation & the prices. You expect to pay a little more in a hotel than local bars etc, but the prices were over 50% more. I bought a glass of milk which cost me R120 (nearly £2) but in a local cafe this cost me just R20.

It has recently been taken over by a hotel chain & as far as I can see from my last visit there are very little improvements.
