Riadh Palms Hotel – Sousse – Tunisia
Having read many mixed reviews we still decided to give the Riadh Palms hotel a shot & I am glad we did. It’s by no means the nicest looking or most modern hotel but it has everything you require to make it a good & enjoyable holiday.
Our room was a big family room that fitted 4 beds easily with a seperate bathroom & seperate toilet. It also had a balcony & as we were on the 6th floor had a fantastic sea view. The rooms were cleaned daily & sheets changed once a week but towels everyday. I found in general that the hotel was really clean (a few occasions I came down to the pool area at 7am & some things were not moved from the night before).
The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach at Sousse with a beach bar & resturant which served fast food (pizza was awesome) then a buffet resturant upstairs that served breakfast, lunch & dinner. They also had an a-la-carte resturant you could visit once a week on AI.
Food was plentiful & I found it to be varied. I found the people that complained most about the food are the ones that wanted their home foods catered for (chicken nuggets & chips etc). Hey, it’s a different country and they have different food - it’s good to try new things!
Staff were always pleasant & very helpful. Mini-disco was a hit with many kids, inc. mine!!
