Just got back from 7 nights at the Sahara Beach in Skanes, Tunisia. Like most of the reviews of this hotel suggest, you get what you expect for a 3 star rating.

Video expedition to Uganda: Episode 2, Part 1 (Part 2)

Firstly we were told we were going to Carribean World in Hammamet, not in Borj Cedria so that was the first suprise. I’ve just returned from a week at this hotel with my mother, who needed some help with the many stairs to the dining room, pool, lifts ect…
staff seemed very happy to help, even letting us move rooms for a better view over the lovely pool and gardens and right out to sea.
The entertainment was dire and the entertainment team were more than a little smarmy.
very little information (hotel, travel, local area)
hotel has a no cash policy, you need to get a card from reception (5 dinar diposit) and charge it with cash. good idea but would have liked to be told rather than getting to the beach only to be told i needed a card..get card..back to beach…told to go back to bar at the pool to pay for sunbed and towel…back to beach with ticket…told that he only does sunbed have to go back to poolside for towel!!!….aaaaahhhhh. Just put some signs up, it’s that simple….
