Principe Hotel Sol – Torremolinos – Costa Del Sol

We went on a half board basis to the Principe Hotel Sol in Torremolinos & the food was very good. Plenty of choice & piping hot.

The hotel rooms were lovely & bright & had a hairdyer but the area around pool was very dangerous & slippery. The kid’s pools are great but there is very little space around them for sunbathing, therefore we felt like sardines. If you arrived down to the pool at 9.15am there was not a sunbed to be had.

The kids club was only free for the morning session. The afternoon session had to be paid for – 10 per one day package or – 35 for a 5 day package. A bit much when you have 3 kids attending for two weeks! And the kids playground only opened for a few hours per day! Just to top it off, the kids entertainers were not that friendly & spoke very little English.

The evening shows could have been better. The shows were performed by the kid’s entertainers. Any other Costa del Sol hotel we have been to brought different acts/entertainers in to do the shows.

We had a nice holiday but will not be back as we felt kid’s safety was not a priority here. One of our kids just walked out of the kid’s club one morning & spent some time looking for us even though we had written on his kid’s club id not to let him out on his own. Another morning the kids playground was covered with broken glass which was still there two days later.
