Went to the Riviera Hotel in Benalmadena on recommendation, had read the reviews & was looking forward to arriving. However my immediate reaction on arrival was that the hotel was in need of a refurb, as did several other guests especially the carpets in our room which very badly stained & marked. …

After reading mixed reviews of the Las Piramides hotel we were a little apprehensive on arrival. All I can say is that we could not have asked for a better hotel. …

Hi, we have just returned from a holiday at the Yaramar hotel in Fuengirola, lovely & clean, staff very friendly. Right on the seafront with easy walking in either direction. Excellent for anyone with a disability as it’s very flat & the pavements have been specially made with dips in for wheel chairs. …

Do not stay in the Angela hotel unless you are 60+, it’s like a retirement home/morgue! If someone offered me this hotel for £100 for a week, I definitely wouldn’t bother, let alone the £1000 we paid. …

Arrived early morning at the Fuengirola Beach hotel, all the staff very nice & helpful. The room was clean & basic but we didn’t stay in the room long enough to fault anything. Las Arenas is not perfect with no temperature control on the air conditioning or …

We stayed at the Quercus Hotel for a golf weekend in April 2009 and considering it’s only touted as a 3 star, were dead impressed. The rooms are a good size with their own terraces looking out over the village to the sea and Gibraltar, which is only a 15 minute cab ride away. The staff were friendly and the food was decent, if not exceptional, but the hotel is very modern, small and has a very nice vibe.
It says on the website that it is only 100m from Alcaidesa golf club, which unfortunately isn’t true now they …

basic hotel but no complaints with it. rooms cleaned daily and also clean towels. bar and restuarant next door gives 10% discount on sight of key to room. literally a 30 second walk from beach across the road. would be a 20min walk from main nightlife area but all in all a good base
