Moonlight Restaurant and Guest House – Candolim – Goa
The Moonlight is situated up a narrow lane heading towards Pretty Petals. But you can also follow the road around the rear of Rising Waves & past Pretty Petals.Santana & Theresa are very welcoming & will help out with anything you may need. Santana even met us at 5:30 am on the morning of our arrival, with a cold bottle of water at hand. Much needed after the farce that is Dabolim airport.
There are three A/C rooms in the main building above the small but very good restaurant. Three further non A/C rooms are situated behind another block. Smaller but very clean with fan on ceiling. We were in room 2 with a big living room & separate bedroom. A good sized wet room. A TV & fridge were also in the room. Cleaned every day with fresh towels available.
The usual fare served up at breakfast & some lovely meals served up at night. The Moonlight is out of the way a little but the restaurant was busy most nights. Theresa’s homemade Baileys are a must after your dinner. Very reasonably priced, as was everything with this package holiday.
The non A/C rooms were very cheap but during March I always think A/C is a must. As said in a previous post it is up a narrow lane & can be a little dark at night. The dogs can also be a little noisy at times but it didn’t bother me too much. Now it’s back to flight checking for next season & I just hope I can again stay with Santana & Theresa.
