We have just returned from the Hotel Miami in Lido di Jesolo. We weren’t expecting much for the price we paid but the hotel has just undergone a full refurb it was spotless, the rooms were hoovered, had  mopped & fresh towels daily while the entire hotel was clean & all furnishings were new. The staff are welcoming & friendly & our Thomas Cook rep was great.
The hotel is one street back from the shopping area which is the entire length of Lido di Jessolo and the beach is a short walk from the hotel, aproximately 100 metres.

We were allocated our table in the dining room for the week. Breakfast was a choice of cereal, cheese, meats, fruit, yogurt, toast & jams, scrambled egg & bacon. Don’t expect an English breakfast, but there is a choice of fruit juices and they serve you tea or coffee. Evening meal you choose from a list of a starters, main courses & desserts – we chose well & our food was lovely. You can help yourself to the salad, chips & veg but the rest of your meal is served to you. Drinks with your evening meal goes on a tab for the end of the week and you pay when you check out.

A trip to Venice is a must and we did it ourselves. We purchased a ticket from the tobacconist and we paid 12.80 euros each, but if you want the water taxi’s when you are in Venice you can pay 25 euros each. The rep wanted 50 euros for the trip each and it was really easy to do ourselves. The bus stop’s just outside the hotel which takes you to the port, there you catch the ferry over to Venice which returns every hour.

You can hire bikes free of charge from hotel reception & we got free safe hire too. They also have a laptop which you can use when you show your passport free of charge. We would visit the hotel again – really enjoyed our stay.
