Marina Torrenova Hotel – Palma Nova – Majorca

We just returned from one week in the Marina Torrenova hotel. The cleanliness was top notch and rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels provided.

The entertainment was OK, if you was under 13, as it’s all Thomson the Dog! And why do people allow kids to pick up food then put it back in the tray for someone else to pick up, play with it or sneeze all over it? My daughter & I ate out most days as we couldn’t eat the food in the hotel and we also complained that there was no air conditioning in the restuarant. We were told it was broken.

We went on boat trip to Palma. Suggest you see Thomas near the beach as it’s 17 euros with him. We were told by our travel agent that the hotel was on a slight incline & it was in Palma Nova, even the staff (and reps) in the hotel said it was at the top end of Magaluf on the top of the hill. The taxi into Palma Nova was 4 to 5 euros & Magaluf was 3.20.

You get a TV in your room but you’ll have to hire the remote and a visit to the cafe round the side of the hotel is a must for good food, cheap beer & cheaper Internet than the hotel.
