Le Preskil Beach Hotel - Mauritius

Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing holiday. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here at the Le Preskil Beach Hotel in Mauritius and it was wonderful.

We are keen divers & were very pleased with the ‘boat house’ at the hotel. Lots of free watersports, plenty of sunbeds and an enormous choice of food. It has a fantastic steak house & beach restuarant which is very good value (all-inclusive!).

The staff couldn’t do enough to help (even to the point that they would not allow my husband to carry a cup of coffee back to the sunbed on his own!). We had a penthouse which was well worth the extra money and robes & slippers were a welcome sight on arrival! Taxis are very cheap and there is a good local Monday market where you can sample true Mauritian living. The local supermarket, which sells most things, is just a 10 minute walk away. The on-site shop a little expensive.

Get ready to welcome lizards & beetles into your room, but nothing was dangerous in or out of the water.
