Iberostar Torviscas Playa Hotel – Playa de las Americas – Tenerife

Our 3rd stay at this hotel, our first being 2007 as a couple then 2010 as a 1st family holiday & again this year as a family. After a fabulous holiday in 2007 at this hotel we knew we would become regular visitors!

We found the hotel yet again spotless. The pool area is well looked after too, plenty of loungers & parasols. Food was excellent, plenty of choice even for our fussy two year old. Always hot, fresh & enjoyable. The location is brilliant just out of the back gate is the beach, McDonald’s, bars restaurants, shops giving you plenty to do & not far away from the hotel itself.

The staff are excellent, warm & welcoming from reception & animacion team, to waiting & bar staff to the maids, all very polite & always greet you with a “hola”. We recognized staff from 2007 during our visit in 2010 & they were there again this year, which is lovely to see.

Jorge, Carlos, Victor, Julian are just a few who kept our little boy entertained in the restaurant or around the hotel, he loved them.

It’s nice to go to a hotel & see the faces you recognize, it makes the holiday for us! Entertainment is great, although we were mainly out at night shopping or just enjoying a stroll along the harbor & beach. I will hopefully be back next year to Torviscas Playa for a 4th stay!

As returning customers we received a bottle of bubbly on ice to our room the 1st morning we were there, last year too, a lovely gesture we thought!

Tenerife Hotel Sol – Playa de las Americas – Tenerife

My mum & I stayed in this hotel in September, & totally enjoyed ourselves. The food was lovely, plenty of choice both for breakfast & evening meal. The dining room was massive.

Hotel was really clean, as was our room on the first floor. Towels were changed every day except Sunday. The location was great, right on the sea front, with bars & restaurants near by. The hotel staff were very friendly, anything you needed you got almost straight away.

We went out most evenings, but the nights we stayed in the entertainment was quite good, singers, Chinese balancing acts etc. We would definitely return to this hotel again, it was a great package holiday.

Gran Costa Adeje Hotel – Playa de las Americas – Tenerife

I visited this hotel in January with my wife & two children, we had an excellent time, the hotel is absolutely beautiful. We went all inclusive & I was actually quite impressed the food wasn’t too bad we did go to the a la carte restaurant at an extra cost but it was well worth it.

We did not stay for the entertainment every night as we wanted to venture out a little but what we see we quite enjoyed.

I would certainly return to this hotel staff made us feel very welcome & were great with service, everything was all nice & clean, which is something I was worried about as I did read on some reviews that the cleanliness was not up to 5 star standards.
