Flora Suites Hotel – Kusadasi – Turkey

The Flora Suites hotel staff were very unfriendly & rude, including the mananagement. The pool is booked out for weddings, birthdays, circumcision parties etc. so you have to leave by 4pm – this happened on two occassions for us.

The hotel has everything – table tennis, volleyball, football, badminton, waterpolo but i’m afraid none of it is used as they don’t have (or didn’t have when we went) an animation team (there is a pool table downstairs but you have to pay).

There is nothing for children, only a pool with a slide which was OK – but gets very boring when that is all there is for children to do. The staff who clean & cook bring their children to run riot around pool & hotel – their ages varied between 2 & 14 years.

The food is served outside with flies all over it – snacks are pizzas & you have to run for it. But the cats are very friendly! The rooms have air conditioning for the living space, but not in the bedrooms. The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere, no pubs, clubs, cafes… nothing - only a supermarket over a busy dual carriageway. And the bar only serves raki, beer & vodka.
