Cala Millor Park Aparthotel – Cala Millor – Majorca

This hotel is actually a Hipotel & is in a great location in Cala Millor which is in between Cala Bona & Sa Coma. I have given it a score of 5 for most of the sections as I really can’t fault it.

The accommodation is split into several buildings, some have been refurbished, the remainder are being refurbished.

The unrefurbished rooms are looking a little tired but are clean & tidy, we asked to be moved from the first unrefurbished rooms as the lift area is looking a little tired & our 5 year old wasn’t keen to get in it, the reception staff could not have done more to help us, they moved us with little fuss to a slightly more up to date room with a massive balcony overlooking the sea.

We have done all inclusive once before but this version was so much better than the last, it’s more like full board with drinks included.

No hamburgers/hot dogs around the pool just really good food, all that you can think of including Paella’s, salads, fish, meat (all freshly cooked), cheeses, desserts that actually taste as good as they look. Beer is San Miguel & drinks are Fanta/Coke/Sprite etc.

Wine’s taste half decent & there’s cava if you fancy as well as small selection of cocktails. Slush puppies & ice creams for the children, again it’s walls ice cream, Mini Milks, Cornettos etc. & toasties/cakes if you fancy a mid morning/late afternoon snack.

The entertainment team are very good with the children & adults & the shows that were on whilst we were there were brilliant, a parrot show, a circus act & dancers of various description as well as a few quizzes, I have only given the entertainment a 4 because they didn’t play for money on the bingo lol! (i don’t think they’re allowed but didn’t catch the reason why).

I really haven’t got anything bad to say about this hotel & I’m a fusspot usually.

We visited Pontins last week with my little boy & I must say, although my little one had a fabulous time watching the childrens entertainment & visiting the fair at Southport, the biggest let down about this place is the cleanliness.

We are a family of 4 & recently stayed at the Brean Sands Pontins. At first glance, we thought what are we all doing here asit seemed to be a very depressing place.

I stayed at The LEonard hotel in January 2009. It was my second visit to this particular hotel and I stay in London reasonably regularly (2-3 times a year). FInding a decent cheap hotel under ÂŁ100 a night that is central to the West End is hard, but this one is about the best I have found.

We stayed at the 3 * Whitehall Hotel in Dunmow for an early flight from Stansted. It was booked through Holiday Extras at a cost of £96. 54 which included room, 15 days parking & transfers to & from the hotel to the airport.

I would thoroughly recommend the Oskhurst Guest House which is just a few minutes away from Gatwick Airport, in fact I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. There is always a very warm welcome.
