Residence Inn Seaworld International Centre – Orlando – Florida – America

This hotel is perfect -no airs & graces, no bell boys or concierges but everything it did offer suited us 100%. We usually stay around Lake Buena Vista but decided to go for a change this year.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a great big white toothed grin from a young man who checked us in quickly & smoothly. We were given room 3008. We opened the door to a very big room with kitchen area. Two queen beds were already made up & we made up the double sofa bed so the two teenagers in our party didn’t have to sleep together!

Bathroom not overly big but bath with shower & toilet; what else would you want? Vanity outside the bathroom which means two of you can clean at the same time (or whatever!).

Breakfast was more than adequate – cereals, eggs, ham or hash, waffles or pancakes, muffins, danish, fruits, yogurt, bagels, bread, toaster and more. Disposable plates & cutlery but hey ho. People would even come in in their pj’s which the hotel is more than happy about.

Pool area lovely & sunny all day. Laundry perfectly adequate. Game room kept the boys amused at times. Location absolutely perfect; just off the I-4 & our room was overlooking the pool so no road noise. Talking of noise we were two rooms away from the elevators & were expecting to hear some noise – we never heard a thing!

Either we were so tired & slept through it or the hotel is well sound proofed. We enjoyed being away from the hustle & bustle of the busier areas & this hotel felt very calm & comfortable in contrast to the busy areas we visited all day.

The carpets often looked liked they could have done with a vacuum but with the amount of traffic going through that didn’t bother me too much. There are BBQ’s available if you fancy cooking yourself outside at any time. Within walking distance are Sea World & a CSV/pharmacy where you can pick up some food items as well as pharmacy products.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as long as you have a pool view as not sure how much traffic noise you would get on the other side of corridor but if you walked as much as we did you probably could sleep in the central reservation & not hear it!
