Ocean Costa Caleta Hotel – Caleta de Fuste – Fuerteventura

We returned on 18/07/2009 following a two week stay at the Ocean Costa Caleta hotel in Fuerteventura. We loved it as did our 4 year old son who paticularly loved the mini disco time at 9pm every night!

The hotel is spotlessly clean & if you report any area to reception that requires attention then housekeeping are there to sort it out in next to no time. The rooms were cleaned every day with clean bed linen & towels in the rooms every couple of days.

The food was fine. There was fish & meat available every evening, pizza most nights, a great salad bar & a choice of chips or potatoes. There was also pasta available with two choices of sauce every night. If you don’t find something you like here I’d be very shocked.

The location of the hotel is great. As you leave the hotel just take a right and walk up the road & all the shops, bars & restaurants of Caleta de Fuste start at the top of the road.

The staff are great & all work very hard, particularly the girl that works the poolside bar most days. The main bar does get very busy in the evening, but you do get served reasonably quickly. The restaurant staff are very keen at cleaning your tables & the restaurant manager was really good with kids.

The entertainments team is made up of two guys called Alex & Jamie (I think!). There are daytime activities like archery & darts etc, & in the evening there was the aforementioned mini disco for the kids at 9.15pm with the main entertainment starting at 10pm. We saw a Blues Brothers act, a parrot show, birds of prey, acrobats, limbo dancing, a magician & some others that I can’t just remember.

I would definitely return to the Ocean Costa Caleta hotel & have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others. Hope this helps!
