Mena Palace Hotel – Sunny Beach – Bulgaria

The Mena Palace hotel was clean & bright and it is cleaned on a continuous basis. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily. A request for an extra pillow was dealt with immediately.

The fridge was a boon, as we kept our soft drinks in it during the very hot weather we were so lucky to have during our two week stay. The air conditioning worked a treat.

We were on a half board basis so we had breakfast every morning but we didn’t always get back for evening meals so occasionally we ate out. The hotel food was varied, plentiful & fresh. It was served at an acceptable temperature and the staff were effectively organised to deliver a good standard of service.

Regarding entertainment we did not see or were aware of any. We did not stay in the hotel for entertainment, we went out every evening to the likes of the Condor bar etc. The hotel is centrally located in Sunny Beach but is surprisingly quiet at night. It is a very short distance to the central bus station across the main road, where at the bus stop you can get the bus to Pomorie or Bourgas cheaply.

We have visited Bulgaria many times & would recommend this hotel. It compares very well to other four star rated Bulgarian hotels we have stayed in.
