Levante Hotel – Cala Bona – Majorca

Stayed at La Luna which is actually the block of rooms next to the Levante Hotel but owned by Levante,only about £100 cheaper! We had a lovely room, free air conditioning plus tea and coffee facilities every day and free fridge. The maids cleaned every day.

We walked around the corner for meals at the Levante or Levante Park and the meals were top notch, as was service in the restaurants. It’s a Thomson Gold hotel so no under 16s – brilliant! No problems getting a sunbed & it was great using the sauna, steam room & jacuzzi after sunbathing.

There is daytime entertainment consisting mainly of quizzes, competitions, cooking demos or fun around the pool. The Thomson entertainment crew were brilliant. The evening entertainment is generally good, the resident duo were not very good but the main entertainment was.

Cala Bona is a lovely resort, pretty quiet & everything shuts down at midnight. Cala Millor, the next resort along is a 15 min walk away, is busier & has better beaches. We hired a car for a week and I would recommend travelling around Majorca and visiting Sa coma, S’Illot, Alcudia, Porto cristo, Pollenca & the saturday market in Soller.

You have to shop around for cheap beer/lager/snacks in the resort.
