Enclave Suites Resort – Florida – America
We booked the Enclave Suites via our Thomas Cook rep. Normally I read reviews on anywhere we are going to stay before I book, but we were in the travel agents & this offer for Disney caught our eye & the rep booked us in at these apartments.
We weren’t disappointed. I had Google-mapped the place several times, so it was very easy to find them, with the big landmarks around them, i.e: the Wet & Wild water park. We had a hire car & there was ample parking around the three blocks of suites. Checking in was fast & straightforward & the staff very friendly & informative. There is a security card-scanner at each main entrance, but this was a bit tempramental. A guest showed us how to percevere & it does register your card eventually.
As there was just the two of us we had a studio apartment, this was big & roomy. The kitchen area had a dishwasher, fridge, two ring hob with microwave & grill oven on the worktops, an iron & ironing board, eating area, lounge area with fold out settee and a big TV. Bathroom had a hairdryer, shower etc. And the piece de resistance: we managed to blag a room overlooking the pool & lake area. It’s wonderful. I would almost say it’s beautiful but we are in the International Drive area so can’t really say the scenery is beautiful, if you know what I mean.
Now this is our first day here & im raving about it already. When we got back from across the road, TGI Fridays for our supper, on coming back to our room we discovered an ice machine & a laundry room down the corridor with free use of washer/dryer. Now I ask you, what more can you need on a holiday like this.
At the moment I am 100% happy.
