Caught a train as train station about 200 meters from hotel. Arrived 10:30am, and room was ready. We had a partial sea view, plenty of choice at lunch & dinner & breakfast. The hotel was almost full but we did not have to wait for anything.

Drinks were served in plastic unless you ask for glass, then no problem. For what you pay it’s very good value. We go on holiday 8 times a year & this is one of the best package holidays we’ve had in Spain. Everywhere in hotel was spotless, indoor pool warm, would return tomorrow if I could. Some reports slate this hotel but from seasoned travelers I can say this is rubbish.

Stayed in Les Dunes in April. Will be going back next month. The apartment was spotless & it was very quiet; a major achievement as it is a front line hotel on the Playa Levante.

The hotel L ambiance was a great hotel.

The staff are so friendly & you really get to know them, they go out of their way to talk to you. The swimming pool is very nice & very clean, the flower & gardens are lovely, & there is so much food to eat & a great choice. Yes, some people want fish & chips but you stay at home for that or go to Spain!

The transport was very well done, you just ask at the desk & a mini bus is there to take you most places. There is a great private beach that is available to use in the next bay, but there is free transport there & back. Lovely holiday. We will be going back to this hotel next year.

Mojacar Playa is a Spanish resort. By that I mean it is extremely popular with Spanish holiday makers. If that is an issue please don’t go as the Best Oasis hotel is also a popular stop for Spanish holiday makers. We went & to tell the truth it is not at all bad.

Went to the Riviera Hotel in Benalmadena on recommendation, had read the reviews & was looking forward to arriving. However my immediate reaction on arrival was that the hotel was in need of a refurb, as did several other guests especially the carpets in our room which very badly stained & marked.

The Sabinal Hotel Hesperia in Roquetas de Mar was full of Spanish people on holiday and we felt everything was aimed at them. All the entertainment was in Spanish and the waiters served the Spanish first, even though we had been waiting ages for a drink.
