Doganay Beach Club Hotel  – Alanya – Turkey

I read some negative reports on this hotel, but I can only assume that some people can complain of anything. The hotel was very clean & the staff extremely pleasant & helpful.

The food was good to very good at times (If you don’t want to eat Turkish style food, don’t go). I would have to say that I would not rate it a 5* hotel, although you get what you pay for & what you get is of good quality.

The hotel is close to Alanya & the hotel’s free bus service is available. Go outside the hotel to book any package holidays (cheaper). I would recommend this hotel for people wanting to experience the Turkish Med.

Turquoise Hotel – Olu Deniz  – Turkey

Qwing to a mix up with the rooms we were upgraded to a suite & all inclusive. We were waiting for the catch – but there wasn’t a one. The suite was excellent & spacious.

The staff were all brilliant, rooms cleaned, sheets changed every single day. Very honest cleaning staff who were totally trustworthy & hard working; so were the rest of the staff. Very friendly, very tentative & the food was beautiful.

Great, friendly hotel! Staff brilliant & genuinely caring & want you to be happy & enjoy your holiday. Olive tree restaurant is attached to the hotel; also try the Oba restaurant attached to the motel at the back of the Montobello.

The sheets & towels were changed every day & each room had a small fridge. I could not fault the small friendly hotel & I & my wife really enjoyed our week at the Montobello beach. There was no entertainment but within 20 yards there was a club, pub, & Olu Deniz has so many other entertainment venues you are spoiled for choice.

We found this hotel to be very clean & comfortable, the beds were very clean with good quality mattresses. Our room was cleaned every day & we got clean towels shaped into swans & bows, etc. The room was lovely overlooking the swimming pool & garden. We also had two very small balconies but they were perfectly adequate for us during our stay. Good size bathroom with hairdryers & plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast & dinner was adequate, though it would have been better if there had been a choice. If you didn’t like something it was tough; you did without. Location was very good, away from all the noise, just a pleasant walk to shops & beach. All things considered we were very happy with the hotel taking to account what we had paid for the holiday.

The Mellis Hill Hotel is a strange place to describe because it has quite a bit to recommend it but it also has quite a bit to put you off going there. I must say that if you have any kind of mobility problem this hotel is definitely not for you. The main reason to recommend it is it’s isolation & it’s basic facilities; perversely the main reason not to recommend it is also it’s isolation & it’s basic facilities. It all depends on what you want from your holiday.

Arrived at the Karbel Beachhotel in Olu Deniz at approximately 10.30pm as a family group (3 adults, one teenage girl). Our suitcases were taken upstairs & we were given the high, adjacent rooms we requested. So far, so good.

The Mavruka hotel is in an ideal location, 5 minutes walk from the seafront and one minute from Olu Deniz town centre. Our room was perfect in every respect. It was clean, spacious, airy, had comfortable beds, more than ample wardrobe provision, a super bathroom with a state of the art power-shower, effective air-conditioning and nice patio close to the pool.
