After visiting the Club Alpina apartments in Marmaris, we found it very welcoming & clean and the majority of the staff were fantastic except a certain one waiter!
He encouraged my young daughter who eventually fell in love with him & he abused her trust & dignity as well as used her for all her money. But the rest of the staff - Gino, James, Rambo, Booboo, Ali-g, Mike, & Musti on reception are exceptional people & we would return just to say hello to them.
So when travelling out to Alpina apartments just be careful, but you can have a wonderful holiday but take into consideration that these people aren’t always all they make out to be.
We holiday in Marmaris & stayed in Club Evin in June 2009, I can honestly say it was the best holiday I have ever been on. Before we went, I was quite apprehensive about the hotel as I could not find many reviews & the one I did find stated that the hotel was very far from the resort. The staff at the Antique Palace Hotel pretty much tortured you to use the hotel restaurant! The rooms were filthy, had to keep complaining about no bins being emptied, the pools were closed quite a lot as they were very dirty and the tiles were cracked around pools.
A tour company pulled out the week we were there as the pools were so bad. Hotel staff hassle you a lot to stay in the hotel and prices there are a rip of.
Club Dorado hotel was wonderfull, no one could wish for better. The staff were so friendly in fact we became one big family for our stay! The food was exceptionally good. We would never wish to visit anywere else and are planning to go again in september 2009. Thank you to all the many people we met, you will never be forgotten. If you are planning a holiday in Turkey, make sure you stay at the Dorado in Marmaris.
I have been going to the Kaan Apartments for years & the bar staff know me very well as I know them very well. OK, I admit the rooms are pink & basic but they are always clean the cleaner is in every single day. The staff are unreal they are there to help as much as they can. They aren’t there for your money as some people have said, just to make sure you basically enjoy your stay as they would like to see you again. …

The Club Dorado hotel was formally known as ‘The Ares’.
The manager/owner is a really lovely woman, she mingles with the guests all throughout the day & night. There is also a really nice photographer there but you dont get hassled to purchase the pictures he takes. He also joined in when the kids were up dancing & in general just mingled about as well speaking to the guests. …

The Pineta Park Deluxe Hotel is in a great location & is a modern hotel. The rooms are big & generally quite clean. The cleaning staff/ maids clean the rooms daily & give you fresh towels. The food is ok, not great but edible. It can become very samey after two weeks but there are some great restaurants close by including diana is. …

Arrived in Marmaris on Friday 17th October 2008, myself, daughter & her friend. There were only two other families at Inan Apartments, one family was leaving on the Saturday & the other was leaving on the Monday.
On Tuesday 21st we were informed that because we were the only guests there they were closing the bar & the kitchen, which I thought was terrible because being end of season most restaurants around that area were closed so we had very little choice of where to eat. …

We had read some bad reports on the Nergis Hotel but we couldn’t quite understand why after our stay here. When we got to our room we greeted with the most gorgeous sea view you could want. The hotel is spotless - they are always cleaning and our room was done every day.
