Booked a last minute holiday to Majorca at the beginning of August as we were fed up with British weather & had planned to go camping. We were originally booked in the Hotel Samoa only to be told at 6am in the morning there was no room at the Inn, so we were sent up to the Canarios Park hotel by taxi although not initially happy about the situation. However, after a bit of a kip we took stock of the situation & aimed to make the best of the new arrangement. We booked the Pollensa Park hotel not knowing what to expect but what a lovely hotel it is. The staff are very knowlegable, friendly, helpful & genuinely cannot do enough for you. The rooms were pleasant, comfortable & clean with a maid service every day and clean towels every day if required. The air-conditioning was a Godsend especially at night as it gets real hot in Majorca at this time of year! …

The Vell MariHotel has 4 stars but I don’t think they are rated on the same as in the UK. The Hotel does have a quality feel about it from the moment you arrive though. The reception area is very smart & the reception staff were excellent & spoke a good range of languages. …

Arrived at the Sol Balmoral hotel around midday & were taken straight to the Chihuahuas, where the only reception is. We were allocated a room in the Balmoral & were bussed up to it by hotel’s own minibus - a nice touch. …
