A great package holiday in Majorca for the money, 10 minutes from the airport & 50 meters from possibly the best beach in Majorca. We have stayed in this hotel several times both in the hotel rooms & in the apartments.

The hotel rooms are very basic & need some updating. The apartments are very good though, basic accommodation & have a lovely view across the gardens to the pool.

Food is very basic & not that great in the evening. Entertainment is OK. The bar staff are brilliant.

English are in a minority in this hotel, the majority being French, Scandinavian, Spanish & of course German. It has a very nice feel to it though. All in all this hotel offers great value & is in a great location 50 meters from the great beach.

This hotel is great if you don’t mind the hill (aka Cardiac Hill). It’s close to Magaluf strip (10 minute walk max) & is nice & clean.

The food is really good, plenty of choices served in a buffet style. BUT – if you are unlucky enough to get one of the rooms that aren’t on the sea front section they can be extremely warm & uncomfortable. I suppose it’s the price you pay for a cheap package holiday in Majorca.

Last time I stayed here (September 2009) we had rooms immediately overlooking the sea so you always had the sea breeze (plus it was an unbelievable view). The other rooms don’t get this – there is a fan in the rooms but no air con.

We stayed here for a week in October 2009. Condesa De La Bahia is a great hotel.

I always wanted to stay here ever since I come across it last year on the internet & reading all the good reviews. We got a good holiday package price to Majorca with Portland for a superior sea view room.

We got to the Hotel at around 12pm & compared to the other hotels we dropped of at I was very excited & impressed seeing the Condesa, it definitely looks the best & located in a very nice position.

On entering the reception it is really nice & spacious we were very excited first impressions very good.

We were staying at Club Europa on an all inclusive basis, so I could sink a couple of beers to help unwind. The accommodation is very nice. The reception staff were very good, & we got a map to help us locate all the facilities.

We had a one bedroom apartment. This was basic, but all that we required for an all inclusive stay. We did have a bit of an issue with ants, but I bought a local ant spray, which did the job.

This Hotel was a pleasant surprise after some of the reviews I read. It is appointed in old Spanish style which is quite pleasant. It’s situation is ideal for the beach & the promenade in Palma Nova, access gained through a private gate directly on to the beach road. The rooms are well equipped & kept clean. Yes the English speaking channels on the television are limited but who goes on holiday to watch TV. The food was really good. If you are expecting pie & chips then you will be disappointed. This is an International Hotel & the food reflects that. The Mallorquin dishes were delicious, & plentiful. The breakfast was equally good. The staff are very pleasant, helpful & professional. Will be returning again.

This was our second year spending a holiday at the Iris. Just 9 apartments, a pool & a utility area with a coin-op washing machine. No on-site entertainment, no kid’s club, no pool bar – heaven for those of us wanting a relaxing break. These apartments are are great place to stay if you’re looking for basic but very clean & spacious accommodation in a quieter resort.

Bedrooms are a good size, shower rooms upstairs & down, a perfectly adequate kitchen & a decent size sitting room. The furniture is maybe a bit tired looking but it’s not awful. Just 5 minutes or so walk to the lovely beach, shops & restaurants. As it is a fairly small resort & we’ll probably have a change in 2010, but I suspect we’ll be hard pushed to find accommodations of such good value.
