Peter’s Kool Pool Appartments are basic but that’s hardly unusual on a holiday package in Greece and the most important factor is that they are clean. The cleaner comes in every day except Sunday & the bed linen & towels are changed at least twice a week. The Appartments have all you need for self catering but there are so many places to eat in the Village of Kardamena that you’re better off going out. …

The hotel room was clean generally although the sheets & towels were dirty upon arrival. We had brought our own sheets & towels following advice off review sites. And found we were charged 20 euros for damage to towels & sheets that were never used. Charging for damages is standard practice in this hotel & future guests should be aware that they can expect to pay between 20 euros & 45 euros per stay.

Our second time at the Cleopatra Superior hotel, & it met all our expections. Very clean, very friendly helpful staff, especially on reception & the bar. The pool is quite large, & kept beautifully clean, & the sunbeds are reasonably comfortable. The location is ideal, on the edge of Kardamena village, so that, even on the hottest days, there is usually a bit of breeze.
The only criticism I can make is that the room doors don’t fit tightly enough to prevent noise from guests returning late, or late night arrivals from the airport, but some of that is due to the inconsideration of guests themselves, as there are plenty of notices asking people to be quiet after midnight.
