Part 1. A month into my trip, I get into Israel & make a brief visit to Tel Aviv (’ll return later), explore Haifa, talk politics in Jerusalem & sleep through Eilat. I take the opportunity to attempt to understand both sides of the conflict that has plagued the region & have a rare chance to interview a local Palestinian.
