Just back from Playa Del Ingles - another great holiday in Gran Canaria, but what is happening at the Barcelo Las Margaritas? This is our 4th year at the Barcelo & although we had a great time standards are definitely slipping. We always stay self catering in the Las Margaritas Suites (apartments), so my comments will relate to these and not the hotel. …

Just got back from a great two week break at the Altamar apartments in Puerto Rico. We had a massive two bedroom apartment, one room had two single beds and the other had a double with en-suite bathroom. …

Hotel was clean & tidy rooms were cleaned every other day & fresh towels everyday. We were self catering but did buy a take-out pizza from the restaurant which was nice. The hotel staff were friendly & spoke good English but there was no entertainment at the hotel. Would return for a quiet holiday.
