Oh god where do I start, worst package holiday I’ve ever booked. Calling it a hotel/villa is a farce, I have stayed in better hostels.

Apartments were disgraceful, no sheets/towels changed the whole time there, not that they were that great to start with. Security guard from the hotel was a mad man, pushed another guest down a flight of stairs!

Staff apart from both bar men were extremely rude, was woken one morning by hotel “manager’s” mouth one morning, screaming at guests down stairs. Left our key at reception one evening only to return to it missing had to pay €60 for a replacement!

One of our group stayed in alone one evening, only to see the security guard come into our apartment & have a wander round for himself, friend thought it was one of us he got up from the bed tons very startled guard told hotel management next morning & nothing was done.

So all & all would really not recommend, very very dodgy indeed.

The hotel was quite clean, the pool bar food wasn’t up to much, the location was fab; 5 minutes from the strip & the beach!

The hotel staff charge you for things you haven’t even done! We got charged for a broken table, broken toilet, 3 missing panes of glass from the balcony door, a cracked key fob, a broken drawer & a cracked balcony chair all of which we had to pay for before we could have our passports back! Well dodgy!

Would never recommend these apartments to anyone, terrible package holiday.

Hotel is definitely not 4 stars. Too expensive a package holiday. Could not fault room cleanliness but public areas especially the toilets left a lot to be desired.

Food was very boring & predictable & catered more for Eastern Europeans & Russians! Location lovely but only side sea views allocated to British guests. Why?

Staff you felt were working there under sufferance & very rarely smiled or spoke to guests.

Returned last week from a fabulous fortnight at the Marianna Studios. Maria, Yiannis, Manos & Vicky are so friendly, it’s like staying with family! Maria is a superb hostess, always ready to chat & she addresses you by name which adds to the family feel.

The full English breakfasts are great & set you up for the day. You must stay for the barbecue on Friday. We don’t usually like barbecues at apartments but Maria’s is real value for money, more than enough food for seconds if you want them.

The apartments are bright, airy & spotlessly clean. The cooking facilities are very basic – but just the same as other apartments I have been to in Greece. Who wants to cook on holiday anyway?

We have been to Malia several times over the last 10 years. This is the first time we have stayed at the Marianna but we won’t stay anywhere else now. Great holiday can’t wait to return!

This is the sixth time we have been to Stalis & thoroughly enjoyed our holiday we stayed for 3 great weeks, spent every day at the beach.

The staff at the apartments were very friendly especially Billy always happy & knows everybody’s name. We ate out every night at various restaurants, food & drink was good. A few of the restaurants have closed down from last year because the fully inclusive hotels are taking a lot of the customers away.

We are going back next year again & will definitely be staying at the Filia apartments.

Well, not sure about this hotel. It is rather basic & you get what you pay for with it being a rather inexpensive package holiday. The room was tidy & we had a TV (with poor picture quality) & A/C which was provided free. Maid service every day except Sunday with clean towels & sheets.

Our balcony on the first floor overlooked the main road which was fairly busy (we live on a busy road in the UK so this did not bother us) however two or 3 times during the day locals would drive their cars by (& a scooter once!) with their stereos on full blast.

The pool area was tidy but our visit during September saw the poolside bar shut, with us having to go to the bar in the main building & carry them round.
