I would like to warn travellers to Beijing, China about a scam that has hit me twice now personally. In the lead up to the Olympic games in Beijing, the warning may be very useful, especially for solo travellers who are particularly vulnerable. I have travelled in many developing countries such as Russia, Thailand, South Africa, Indonesia etc but never come across anything as subtle as this scam.

A short video about eating all over town in Ho Chi Minh City, one of the world’s best food destinations.

After getting food poisoning in India and basically fasting for a week, I was starving, and on the hunt for delicious Vietnamese delicacies. The goal was to spend the entire day satiating my hunger, breakfast, lunch dinner, desert and coffee. I had a mission and cheap moto-taxis to buzz me around town. This is one epic day on the quest to fill my empty belly in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam.
