Doganay Beach Club Hotel – Alanya – Turkey
I read some negative reports on this hotel, but I can only assume that some people can complain of anything. The hotel was very clean & the staff extremely pleasant & helpful.
The food was good to very good at times (If you don’t want to eat Turkish style food, don’t go). I would have to say that I would not rate it a 5* hotel, although you get what you pay for & what you get is of good quality.
The hotel is close to Alanya & the hotel’s free bus service is available. Go outside the hotel to book any package holidays (cheaper). I would recommend this hotel for people wanting to experience the Turkish Med.

I have just come back from celebrating my 50th birthday at this resort, with four of my girlfriends. We were upgraded to a penthouse on arrival with it being my Birthday.
The hotel is beautiful, very clean, beautifully furnished. We arrived at 4am & we could still have something to eat. Our room was very spacious, clean had two balconies one with a hot tub.
The location of the hotel is great surrounded by mountains & over looking the sea. There is a bus to the private beach which is a five minute ride away. The beach is lovely if a bit shingly in places. There is a bar & food on the beach even free bottled water.
Definitely return another year well worth every penny. Staff are all very helpful was a lovely holiday package.
We will not be back to this hotel; terrible package holiday! The hotel was extremely good in both layout & cleanliness, but the food was another matter; in the 7 nights we were there they had meatballs on the menu 4 times for dinner & once for lunch.
For breakfast there were numerous salvers of salad, a lot of which were just Feta cheese & decoration, there was no toaster only a big catering sandwich toaster similar to the George Foreman machine advertised in this country which was not suitable for just toasting bread. …
