Doganay Beach Club Hotel  – Alanya – Turkey

I read some negative reports on this hotel, but I can only assume that some people can complain of anything. The hotel was very clean & the staff extremely pleasant & helpful.

The food was good to very good at times (If you don’t want to eat Turkish style food, don’t go). I would have to say that I would not rate it a 5* hotel, although you get what you pay for & what you get is of good quality.

The hotel is close to Alanya & the hotel’s free bus service is available. Go outside the hotel to book any package holidays (cheaper). I would recommend this hotel for people wanting to experience the Turkish Med.

Turquoise Hotel – Olu Deniz  – Turkey

Qwing to a mix up with the rooms we were upgraded to a suite & all inclusive. We were waiting for the catch – but there wasn’t a one. The suite was excellent & spacious.

The staff were all brilliant, rooms cleaned, sheets changed every single day. Very honest cleaning staff who were totally trustworthy & hard working; so were the rest of the staff. Very friendly, very tentative & the food was beautiful.

I was tempted several times to try foods I wouldn’t normally pick as I’m very fussy, but I’m so glad I did so. Location was gorgeous. Excursions worth every penny. Jeep Safari a wonderful, memorable experience.

This was my first trip to Turkey & I was very wary at first, my son had been before & reassured me. Turkey was a beautiful country & I will always remember the wonderful, friendly & honest Turkish people who made it a holiday of my dreams.

Incredible people, Incredible memories & Incredible Turkey. We are going again this year as the whole region is worth it!

Monachus Park – Colakli – Turkey

Hi we booked a holiday for two Adults & one child (6).

Hotel: was lovely & clean staff was very helpful. Short walk to a clean & sandy beach with clean sea, no pebbles or rocks. Very long beach we used to get up have breakfast & go for a walk on beach; by the time we were back it was normally dinner time so headed for beach bar.

Although it is a sun trap & sand does get very hot shoes needed. It is very funny to watch people who have just arrived & don’t realize having to run to the sea especially the big strong bodybuilder types. Waterslides are on two or 3 times a day.

Animation team: very good tried to keep everyone happy with games etc but did leave you alone if asked, although the evening entertainment was more geared to the Germans was still good.

Room: was fine, we only used it to sleep in so rooms never bother us. The bed was a bit hard but normally are in Turkey. Cleaned/towels changed every day TV with a few English channels for when your getting changed at night what more could you need really?

Food: was good & plentiful, even the fussiest of eaters would of found something.

Breakfast: pastry’s, eggs (boiled fried fresh omelets) meats, cereals, toast, butters, jams, yogurts, fruit, plenty.

Dinner: meats, potatoes, salads, chips, Turkish pizzas, griddle meats/fish etc, bread, puddings: cakes, fruit.

Evening Meal:Theme nights at least 3 nights a week always show cooked food e. g stir fry, griddle fish or meat, choice of veg, potatoes, pasta, chips, fantastic salads, Turkish pizza. puddings: cakes fruit jelly ice cream

Food at beach bar was more burger chips etc for those of you that go away & like to eat the same as at home.

Drinks: was good didn’t seem watered down but the wine in the restaurant was stronger than the one at poolside & beach.

Outside of the hotel wasn’t much but from what I gather there are more hotels etc now. There are shops on the road before you come down to the hotel they can be pushy but just say no & there normally OK

Es Apartments – Turunc – Turkey

Es Apartments Was Amazing. What A Wonderful Holiday!

The Pool Was A Little Bit Cold At Times, And Our Apartment Was The One In Front Of The Pool, With An Amazing View Of Turunc. The Restaurant Has Amazing Food, With A Huge Amount Of Choice.

There Was Something For Everybody. The Hotel Was Clean, And House Keepers Came In Everyday. It Was Very Modern, Though Due To The Fact There Are No Lifts, I Wouldn’t Recommend It To Somebody Who Has Trouble Walking Up Stairs.

I Must Say, I Did Lose A Few Pounds While There! The Location Is Right On The Harbour, So There Is An Amazing View Of The Boats And Sea. The Staff Are Pretty Good, And There To Welcome You Even If You Come Home At 4 In The Morning!

They Helped With Bags, And The Dog There Was Cute And Friendly, But Isn’t Always Out, So No Matter If You’re Scared Of Dogs, It Is Still Perfect. Not Much Entertainment In The Hotel Itself, But The Area Is Home To Many Bars And Boat Trips.
