Selena Hotel - Sozopol - Bulgaria

The Selena hotel is an excellent hotel in an excellent location in Sozopol. The rooms were good & spotlessly clean. Reception was friendly & helpful. If you go half board, note that dinner is from 6 to 8 after which it goes a la carte. If you go on an excursion, advise the dining room the night before and if you leave early they will make up a sandwich for you instead of breakfast.

This is a quiet hotel away from the party crowd & frequented by the locals. Book early - we met a couple on the way back who had to stay next door because it was fully booked. Breakfast on the terrace - overlooking the sea was heaven.
