Papagayo Hotel Iberostar - Playa De Las Colorades Bay - Lanzarote

We stayed at the Papagayo Hotel in Playa de las Colorades on Lanzarote and the all inclusive choice was extensive, although it can get a bit repetative like all “all incs”. Food was replenished whenever it ran low, so there was always fresh stuff available.

Drinks were self service in the restaurant. The hotel location was fairly quiet but on the coast with a nearby supermarket and a 15 minute walk to the marina. Waiting staff were pleasant although some bar staff were failry obnoxious with no concept of “first come first served” but you just have to accept it & there was never a major issue with waiting times, even though we were there at peak time (July/Aug).

The entertainments team were good fun with all ages with a Mini club, Maxi club & adult sports. Although the hotel stated ” no reserving sunbeds” you needed to have your towel down by 9:00am to get one! But as the bar closed at 11:00 each night (the entertainment room was shut at 12:00) It was never an issue being up in time for breakfast.

Snacks also available at the pool bar during the day with ice cream for the kids. There are different shows on each night, or there is the bar terrace if you wanted a quiet drink. A pool table & two Internet PC’s were also available. Reception staff were friendly & sorted anything you required quickly and the rooms were cleaned regularly.

Going back in 6 weeks. This was the most relaxing “All Inclusive” package holiday we have ever had.
