Read mixed reviews on this hotel before leaving so went with an open mind but after staying a week there I can honestly say it has put me off ever returning to Lanzarote.

I have been to the island 4 times & enjoyed previous visits. The hotel is set back away from main area with wasteland surrounding you. First impressions were it’s quite nice – reception spoke excellent English & were very helpful.

Room was very basic & didn’t have the sheets changed at all in the week we were there, towels were only changed 3 times & cleaning staff just popped in gave a quick sweep & were gone again.

Pool was nice if a bit cold but they all like that in canaries so kids just dived in & were happy. The kids entertainers were fab, they really tried their best.

The restaurant is really small for all inclusive & the food is so so boring & predictable – chips – pasta with an awful tomato sauce. It was the same thing daily. We even noticed that some of the food was re-used if it wasn’t eaten, they just made it into mixed salads & soups etc for the next meal.

Food wasn’t hot – not even warm. This could be a nice little place if they sort the food & cleaning staff out as it is what lets the place down.

We didn’t go hungry but that is because we stuck to salad & bread rolls, I have been all inclusive many times & this was by far the worst. Had we have gone self catering the holiday would have been better as we would have eaten out every night so would have spent very little time at the hotel.

They also have a bad cockroach problem, they are the size of cigarette packets some of them, we had to buy powder & spray to keep the critters out of the room. They seem unfazed by them. There was 3 in restaurant & they just picked them up & threw them out.

All in all this place ruined our holiday.
