Club Green Nature Hotel - Marmaris - Turkey
The Club Green Nature hotel is spotlessly clean. The room we were given was massive with two bathrooms, two seperate rooms & two balconies. The location was really good too as it was about 5 mins walk from the main road in Marmaris, so quiet enough at night not to be disturbed but close enough to wander to other parts of Turkey.
Entertainment wasn’t the best, quite repetative & slapstick most nights, but did bring in the odd outside entertainers on certain nights which were excellent. The food was OK but mainly catered for the German & Russian visitors, particularly at breakfast, so we tended to go to the Diana bar for our full English, which at 4lira was excellent value & the staff were so warm & welcoming. Would highly recommend this place as even the evening meals were fantastic value & very nice.
The spa programme is quite good value too. On out last day, three of us had an anti-stress programme which consisted of a Turkish bath, massage, facial & apple tea which only cost £20 a head & lasted almost two hours - it was fantastic.
We took a boat trip one day which again was fantastic value for money & really enjoyable particularly as the temperature was in the 40s whilst we were here. We booked the boat with the no-name tour provider found on the road on the way to Icmeler. It cost £20 for two adults & two kids & lasted from 9. 30am to 6. 00pm. It stopped off for about 6 swims & a trip to Turunch for a very quick shop. Dinner was provided in the price but you had to buy drinks & ice creams etc on board which were a little more expensive than on land, but still the whole day ended up costing us £10 a head with drinks & such like & the staff on the Sunshine were incredibly friendly.
I would highly recommend this place & would definitely visit again. Turkish people are incredibly warm & friendly & great lovers of the family & as a result I felt very comfortable wherever I visited with my children. I would definitely visit Turkey again.
