Club Antique Palace Hotel - Marmaris - Turkey

We arrived at the Club Antique Palace hotel in Marmaris in the early hours & were greeted by the night staff, who were very helpfull. We were taken to our room which turned out to be underground!

On opening the French doors, we found we were under the splash pool for the slides - not good as there were steps right across the doorway, no rails & an entrance to the pool plant room! My daughter is only 7 & we found this very distressing but we were moved the next day to a much better room, facing the road, but by comparison this was fine.

The poolside was always busy and people put towels out really early so we found it hard some days to get a sunbed. The lads around bar & pool were excellent, always happy to help and the pools were good - the kids had a great time. Tere was something for everyone - two small pools for toddlers & 3 big pools to play in. The slides were turned on twice a day, which was good, as the kids didn’t want to come off them. I am a swimming teacher & recommend this hotel’s pools.

The rooms could have been cleaned better. They were not dirty, just more changes of towels & sheets were required. You have got to go to “Hot Stuff”, the best bar and just round the corner. The lads there are great and we spent most of our nights ther. Breakfast was only 99p too! My son also used the barbers a bit further up and after he had his hair cut he went back every night & they gelled & styled free. 

I think we will be going back next year. None of us wanted to come home and there were 16 of us in total.
