This category contains destination guides in video format gathered on a gradual basis from around the Interweb. Each video is generally just a few minutes long but should hopefully give you a good idea of the destination, highlighting main attractions and tourist areas, architecture and ambience. A good way to see a little bit of the place before you book your holiday. This page updates every few days, so bookmark it (or use the RSS feed) and check back for more destinations regularly. One of the most fascinating destinations in Africa is the exotic seaport of Stonetown on the idyllic island of Zanzibar. Historically significant, Stonetown is vibrant mix of architectural and cultural influences such as arabic, indian, african and european. With out a doubt the best seafood experience weve ever had was at the Forodhani Garden. The garden has a carnival-like atmosphere with a frenzy of people buying and selling food and curios to the light of gas lamps and flaming woks. There are stacks of kingfish, tuna, barracuda, white shark, red snapper, blue marlin, small prawns, large prawns, lobster, mussels, and clams all on kabobs. Behind the kabobs are piles of crab claws, calamari, octopus tentacles, cassava, breadfruit, falafel, fried potatos, salad, nan bread, and chapatti. Forodhani is definitely the best and the cheapest seafood anywhere.

Greg Benchwick is a fan of beer and oddities and Oaxaca in the south of Mexico is fast becoming a favourite weekend away. The zócalo, or main square, is a great starting point for a city that is famous for its colonial architecture and mole sauces. But Greg takes us out to the hills, into the markets and ends at the bottom of a murky glass of deadly mezcale. Apparently, best followed up with a chapoline (grasshopper). Vamos!
